Microfibre artificial leather makes up the upper of these army hiking boots, double-stitched at the seams, with thick woven laces and a side zip for getting the boot on and off. The rubber outsole uses a 3D tread pattern. A thick cushioned insole lining sits under the foot to cut rubbing, and the front of the boot carries anti-collision reinforcements. Khaki and black, sizes 38 to 46.
These take a few days to settle to the shape of the foot, after which the shaft stops pressing at the front of the shin. On long walks, lace firmly through the lower eyelets and leave the top pair a touch looser so the ankle can flex on climbs.
