Our backpacks and bags are grouped by job, so the quickest way in is to think about what you carry and for how long. Daypacks handle the commute and short walks. For a weekend away or a gym session, where you load from the top and carry by hand, our duffle bags swallow more with less fuss.
If you only need your phone and keys close to hand, a shoulder bag worn across the body is lighter than any pack. The vintage canvas bags bring an old-school look to everyday carry, and the dry bags and waterproof backpacks are the ones to grab for the beach or a day on the water.
The hydration packs are worn like a vest, so the weight spreads across your shoulders and ribs instead of swinging behind you on a descent. Some come with a bladder and a hose clip at the shoulder. Others carry soft flasks in chest pockets, so you can drink without stopping. Most are nylon with mesh panels against your back, and sternum straps pull them in so nothing bounces at pace. Reflective cord or strips on many of them pick up headlights on an unlit road at dusk.
On the bike, saddle bags sit under the seat. The small bike saddle bag has a rigid EVA shell and comes off its rail mount in seconds, and the waterproof bike saddle bag rolls shut at the top over welded seams. Up front, the bike handlebar bag doubles as a bag you carry on its own shoulder strap. Check each listing for water: a few are only water-repellent and handle spray, not a downpour.
Colours lean to black, with green, blue, khaki and a brighter orange across many styles. For full days on the track, carrying food and a spare layer, our hiking backpacks are the step up from a daypack.
