The 30 L drybag backpack is made for a wet commute or a session on the coast. Its roll-top closes over the main volume, which has a tarpaulin lining. At 1300 g empty it is heavier than a stuff sack, because of its welded PVC shell and padded harness, and it folds down to 30 x 20 x 10 cm once the kit is out. The bungee cord across the face takes a helmet or a wet jacket, the side straps pull a half load flat against your back, and there are reflective patches. Cyclists, paddlers and cadets all end up loading it the same way.
