A long day on the track is hard on socks. These have a smooth outer and a dotted grip sole under the foot and heel, with a calf-high cut. Wear them in your boots for rain, fords and river crossings.
On a multi-day walk there's no washing socks each night. The anti-odour finish is treated against bacteria and keeps the smell down for several days. The calf-high cut holds warmth around the lower leg.
