Carbon filter water bottle

• This 500 ml carbon filter water bottle weighs 202 g and measures 70 mm across by 236 mm tall, small enough for a rucksack side pocket or a car door bin.
• The three-stage activated carbon cartridge is rated for limescale, chlorine, heavy metals and rust on the way through.
• Flip cap that hinges back one handed onto a push-pull sport spout, with a wrist loop to keep it off the ground.
• Swap the cartridge by lifting it out, since the bottle outlasts the filter. No alert device is fitted, so mark the date on the base.
• ABS body in green, pink or blue with a single outlet, built for mains water rather than a hill stream.

Carbon filter water bottle: chlorine out of the tap

The 0.5 l bottle filters tap water on the way through, using a three-stage activated carbon cartridge rated for limescale, chlorine, heavy metals and rust. It is specified for municipal tap water, which puts it on the office tap, the campsite standpipe and the festival water point rather than a creek in the bush. At 70 mm across it stands in a side pocket, and 202 g empty means you stop noticing it by the second hour of a shift. The hinged cap flips back with a thumb and the wrist loop gives you a hold while you drink. No cartridge counter is fitted, so write the fitting date on the base with a marker.
