Four metres a side gives a group somewhere to sit off the ground when the ground is soaked after rain. The heavy duty polyester mesh takes up to 300 kg, so several hikers can be up there at the same time without anyone doing sums about weight limits. At 1.9 kg for the whole thing it splits easily between two packs, and the carry bag keeps the straps and carabiners with it rather than loose in the bottom of a pack. Three trees, three straps, and the platform is up in minutes.
