This lighter runs on gas and can be refilled each time it runs dry. It is handy in remote places and easy to light when conditions are rough. It is windproof and keeps working at high or low altitude.
The flame is hot enough to burn through tough material, which helps when things get difficult in the mountains. The jet is also much bigger than the flame of a standard lighter.
