At 520 g and 20 x 16 cm packed, this is the one that lives in the lid of your pack and gets used, rather than the one you leave at home. The 260 x 140 cm body is wide enough to lie diagonally and get a flat lie, and the parachute canvas holds two people without complaint. Thin, soft fabric that still takes the load is what separates proper parachute nylon from flimsy garden hammocks with straps that let go.
Sleep matters more in the woods than it does at home, because a broken night ruins the walk the next day. Hang it with a little sag between two trunks and lie across it on the diagonal, and your back stays flat rather than folding into a banana for the night.
