Military day pack

A military day pack in nylon with an expansion zip that takes it from 36 to 55 litres.

• The expansion zip takes it from 36 to 55 litres for a two night wild camp, then cinches back down to patrol size for a day on the ground.
• Rows of MOLLE webbing across the front and a hook-and-loop patch field take a bottle pouch, an admin pouch or a unit patch.
• A 16 inch laptop compartment, so one bag covers the weekend away and the Monday commute.
• Hard-wearing nylon, topstitched at the load points, with compression buckles down each side.
• Padded air-cushion shoulder straps trimmed in synthetic PU let a loaded fifty five litres sit on the shoulders instead of digging in.

Military day pack, 36 to 55 litres

Set wide, this military day pack takes fifty five litres of kit for a two night wild camp or a full weekend in the field, then pulls down with the side compression buckles for a day patrol. The MOLLE rows across the front carry a bottle pouch, an admin pouch or a first aid kit outside the main body, and the hook-and-loop field above them holds a unit or team patch. Mesh pockets down each side keep a water bottle within reach, the reinforced grab handle takes being thrown into a car boot, and the 16 inch laptop compartment turns the same bag into Monday morning kit. On a cadet exercise or a camping weekend the same thing decides it: kit carried outside the main body, and seams that hold when the bag is packed full.
