Daypack with hydration compartment

This daypack with hydration compartment takes a bladder and a shell layer in 12 litres.

• 12 litres for water, a shell layer and food for a half day, carried close in a vest-cut body that stays still when you pick up the pace.
• A wide, load-reducing mesh harness with spine support and air-cushion straps spreads the weight instead of hanging it off two points.
• Mesh vents against your back on the climb, and the nylon shell holds the rain off on the way down.
• A bungee cord across the front takes a wet jacket or a pair of trekking poles without opening the main compartment.
• Folds down inside a bigger rucksack to use as a summit bag, with reflective detail and an SOS survival whistle for late finishes.

Daypack with hydration compartment, 12 litres

Twelve litres is the size most walkers settle on once they stop carrying a forty litre pack on day walks out of habit. The Hikers Day Pack Hydration Compatible holds a shell layer, food and a bladder, with the drinking tube free and both hands on your poles. The vest cut and the spine support keep the load flat against your back on broken ground, and the mesh harness moves air on a long climb instead of trapping it. Outside, the bungee cord takes a soaked jacket or the poles you have just collapsed, so the dry kit inside stays dry. Hard-wearing nylon over a polyester lining handles the gorse and the dry stone walls, and the whole thing packs down small enough to live in a bigger rucksack until you push for the summit. White, or black with a starry print. Bladder not supplied.
