This hammock with tree straps is cut from nylon to 290 x 140 cm for one sleeper with room to spare or two at a squeeze. The whole thing weighs 1.045 kg with the carry bag. A mosquito net is built in, and carabiners and straps come with it for hanging.
Hanging takes a couple of minutes once you find two trees at the right spacing: strap, clip, tension. The net keeps insects off overnight, and in warm country that is the part which decides how well you sleep. At just over a kilo it goes in a pack as a sleep system on its own, with no poles and no groundsheet.
