This military parka jacket mens cut weighs 1.2 kg and uses a water-repellent polyester microfibre for the outer shell, with a deep pile lining. Thick microfibre layers sit between the two, and the hood is reinforced where it takes the wind. Pockets are placed across the front. Four colours are listed, dark blue, army green, khaki and brown, in sizes XS to 3XL.
At 1.2 kg this is a winter coat you can still carry over an arm, which a wool equivalent rarely allows. The water repellency works at the surface, so it turns snow and short rain rather than a long soaking.
