Three main compartments and a set of smaller pockets divide the 45 litres inside this military style rucksack. One pocket takes two pairs of shoes, another holds a laptop up to 17 inches. The body opens flat to 180 degrees, so the contents can be packed like a case rather than stacked from the top. Buckle straps compress the bag and sit over the zip openings. The back panel and shoulder straps are padded and covered in mesh. Black or khaki.
Chest and waist straps spread weight across the torso instead of hanging it all from the shoulders, which counts once the 45 litres is full. The flat opening also means the whole interior is visible at once, which helps when the bag is opened at a security check.

Very good bag with lots of pockets and a fair bit of room. You can dig around inside without having to open the pockets all the way. On the downside, it gets dirty quickly.
